{"id":1292,"date":"2021-09-14T12:52:43","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T10:52:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sicea.com\/?post_type=progetto&#038;p=1292"},"modified":"2024-07-08T14:47:39","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T12:47:39","slug":"single-span-steel-bridge-padua","status":"publish","type":"progetto","link":"https:\/\/www.sicea.com\/en\/progetto\/single-span-steel-bridge-padua\/","title":{"rendered":"Single-span steel bridge &#8211; Padua province"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The intervention to the Steel Bridge was promoted by the <strong>Province of Padua<\/strong> in order to improve the structure from a <strong>static<\/strong> and<strong> anti-seismic<\/strong> point of view, in view of a larger project of functional modernization to the territorial road network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sicea.com\/chi-siamo\/\">SICEA Srl<\/a><\/strong> carried out the <strong>demolition<\/strong> of the previous structure by removing the piers present within the riverbed. Through <strong>structural strengthening<\/strong> of the side abutments, it then built a new articulated bridge with a steel girder structure. The overall deck of the bridge reaches 12 mt wide and 60 mt long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new reinforced concrete slab allowed the construction of not only <strong>road pavements<\/strong> but also <strong>bicycle and pedestrian areas,<\/strong> thus improving <strong>mobility<\/strong> to the satisfaction of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work improves the course of the river and improves water regulation in turbulence from the flow in case of floods caused by torrential rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Client:<\/strong> Province of Padua<br><strong>Sector:<\/strong> Infrastructure<br><strong>Category:<\/strong> OS18A &#8211;
